The driver of a Dodge 2500 pick-up truck was in for a long afternoon when he was approached by a man and woman at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14 outside a business in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road.
Police say that the man opened the door of the truck and struck the driver in the head with a handgun, ordering him out of the vehicle. The man and his accomplice then got into the vehicle, though as he began driving away, the victim jumped into the bed of the Dodge.
Once he realized that the man was in the back, the driver stopped the truck, threatened his victim with the handgun, and forced him out of the bed. The woman then pepper-sprayed him for good measure.
The truck was last seen traveling on Annapolis Road in the direction of Maryland Route 32.
According to the witness, the two suspects were described as being Black, with the man wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants, while the woman had blonde hair and was wearing an animal print romper.
The incident remains under investigation.
